This Cookie Policy explains how Starry Horizon Limited ("RunMux", "we", "us" or "our") uses cookies and similar technologies on https://runmux.com and the RunMux dashboard, Billing Center and Playground (together, the "Site"). It forms part of, and should be read together with, our Privacy Policy and Terms of Service. Capitalised terms not defined here have the meaning given to them in our Terms of Service.
1. What Are Cookies?
Cookies are small text files that a website transfers to your device through your web browser so that the website can recognise your browser and remember certain information. "Similar technologies" include browser local storage and session storage, which serve comparable purposes. In this Cookie Policy we refer to all of these as "cookies".
Cookies may be first-party (set by RunMux) or third-party (set by another company). They may be session cookies, which stay on your device only until you close your browser, or persistent cookies, which stay on your device until they expire or you delete them.
2. Our Approach
RunMux uses cookies only to operate the Site securely and to remember your preferences. In particular:
- We use first-party cookies only. No third party sets cookies on your device through our Site.
- We do not use advertising cookies, and we do not deliver interest-based or targeted advertising.
- We do not use third-party analytics services, session-replay tools, web beacons or tracking pixels, and we do not track your activity across other websites.
- The RunMux API does not use cookies. Requests to the API are authenticated with API keys, and no cookies or tracking technologies are applied to API traffic.
Because we use only cookies that are necessary to operate the Site or that you set through your own preference choices, we do not require your consent to place them. We display a short notice on your first visit so that you are aware of this Cookie Policy.
3. Cookies We Use
Strictly Necessary Cookies
These cookies are essential because they enable you to use the Site. For example, they allow you to sign in, keep your session secure and access the Billing Center. They do not gather information about you for marketing purposes. This category of cookies is essential for the Site to work and cannot be disabled.

Functional or Preference Cookies

The technical names of these cookies may change as the Site is updated; the categories and purposes described above will remain accurate. A current list of cookie names is available on request at contact@runmux.com.
4. Changing Your Cookie Settings
Your browser may provide you with the option to refuse some or all cookies, and you may be able to remove cookies that have already been set. You can use the browser with which you are viewing the Site to enable, disable or delete cookies. Please note that if you set your browser to disable cookies, you will not be able to sign in to the dashboard or access secure areas of the Site, and if you disable functional cookies some preferences will not be remembered. The Site does not currently respond to "Do Not Track" browser signals, as there is no common industry standard for them. Since we do not perform tracking, this does not affect how your data is processed.

Some cookies, such as the session cookie, are linked to your account and are therefore personal data under applicable law. How we process that data, our legal bases, how long we retain it and the rights you have are described in our Privacy Policy.

We may update this Cookie Policy from time to time, for example if we add or remove a cookie. The date of the last revision is shown at the top of this page. If we ever introduce cookies that require your consent, we will update this Cookie Policy and ask for your consent before setting them.
